We go hands-on with Acer’s Liquid E700!
Acer announced the Liquid E700 a few days before COMPUTEX began, and we managed to get a hold of it and use it for a couple of minutes at their booth in COMPUTEX. While there’s a lot of phones that sport dual-SIM smartphones, there’s only a few can boast triple-SIM capable phones.
Acer Liquid E700 specs
- 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek processor
- 2GB of RAM
- 16GB internal storage, expandable via microSD
- 5-inch HD IPS display with Zero-Air gap technology
- 8-megapixel rear camera with flash
- 2-megapixel front camera with flash
- Triple-SIM capable, Quad-band for all three
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS
- 3500mAh battery
- Android 4.4 KitKat
The Liquid E700 certainly has more than capable specs, and very large 3500mAh battery that should make for some excellent battery endurance. Its overall design is somewhat similar to the phones of another Taiwanese manufacturer – HTC, down to the front facing speakers. The three SIM setup of the E700 make it ideal for people here in the Philippines who need to be connected to all three networks – Smart, Globe and Sun. There’s a button on the back that allows you to take a photo without having to press the button in the front of the smartphone, which should make taking selfies a breeze. Overall the Liquid E700 is a solidly built smartphone, and will start shipping to different territories (not ours yet) for around 199 Euros or around Php 11904 on July.
