ACER to Launch Three Laptops at CES 2018

Including the “thinnest laptop in the world”

Just like other major computer brands, ACER will be beefing up its laptop lineup in time for CES 2018. For the show, ACER will be introducing new Swift 7, Nitro 5, and Chromebook 11 laptops.

The 2018 Swift 7 is vying for the record of the world’s thinnest laptop, having a thickness of only 8.98mm. Powering the Swift 7 is a 7th-Generation Intel i7 Processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, and a 14-inch Full HD display. A major addition to this year’s Swift 7 is the inclusion of 4G LTE, featuring a NanoSIM slot and support for eSIM. Battery life on the Swift 7 is rated for up to 10 hours. The Swift 7 will be available in March, with prices starting at $1,699 (~Php 85k).

 

 

The 2018 Nitro 5 gets a few upgrades, which include an AMD Radeon RX560 graphics card and AMD Ryzen processors. Configuration options include up to 512GB of SSD storage, up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and comes with a 15.4-inch Full HD IPS display. The Nitro 5 will be available in April 2018, with prices starting at $799 (~Php 40k).

 

Lastly, ACER will be launching a new version of its Chromebook 11 notebooks. Customers can choose between a touch or non-touch 11.6-inch display. It will be powered by an Intel Celeron processor, with configuration options such as 2GB or 4GB of RAM, and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage. It will be available in March, with prices starting at $249 (~Php 12.4k)
