Acer also announced two new curved monitors at its 2023 Global Press Conference with the Nitro XZ452CU and Predator X34 V.
The Nitro XZ452CU is a huge 44.5-inch monitor with a 1500R curvature that can be appreciated by both casual and professional gamers. It boasts a 32:9 (5120×1440) aspect ratio, along with a 165hz refresh rate and support for FreeSync Premium Pro to eliminate screen tearing and lessen input lag.
The Nitro XZ452CU supports 90% DCI-P3 coverage and DisplayHDR 400 and has a USB-C port that can be used for display, data transfer, and device charging–on top of an RJ45 port and a USB-B port with KVM switching. The panel also has features like BlueLightShield Pro, Flickerless, Low-dimming, and ComfyView technologies and comes with Eyesafe 2.0 certification.
The Predator X34 V, on the other hand, is a curved OLED panel with a 1800R curvature and a 21:9 UWQHD resolution. It covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and supports DisplayHDR 400. This curved monitor has a 175hz refresh rate and a fast 0.1ms response time, along with support for FreeSync Premium and Variable Refresh Rate.
The Predator X34 V comes with a suite of features that helps keep eyes safe and lets users stay comfortable during extended gaming sessions. These include BlueLightShield Pro, Flickerless, Low-dimming, ComfyView, and Eyesafe 2.0 certification.
The Acer Nitro XZ452CU is priced at $999(~Php 55.9k), while the Predator X34 V is priced at $1299(~Php 72.3k).
