All the Pro Features You Get with the OPPO Reno10 Series 5G

With the official arrival of the OPPO Reno10 series 5G in the Philippines, the brand made sure that all three models in the lineup will stand out in the mid-range to budget flagship segment with a number of high-end features.

We think that the Reno10 series 5G might be the most exciting line to launch in the second half of 2023, and here’s a breakdown why all three models–from the base to the Pro+–are worth your hard-earned money.

Telephoto cameras

The biggest headliner for the whole Reno10 series 5G is that they are a rare breed of mid-range phones that ditched the 2-megapixel filler camera–and replace it with a more usable telephoto shooter. This gives you more flexible shooting options and professional-level shots that are done using a DSLR or professional mirrorless camera.

The base and Pro models get a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x zoom, while the Pro+ upgrades that to a 64-megapixel sensor with 3x optical zoom and OIS.

Curved 120hz AMOLED displays

Curved 120hz AMOLED displays are slowly becoming the trend these days, and OPPO made sure that ALL Reno10 models will have this as a standard feature–again, elevating the Reno10 series 5G as serious mid-range contenders.

The Reno10 5G and Reno10 Pro 5G come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution, while the Reno10 Pro+ 5G steps things up with a 6.74-inch AMOLED panel that has the best display quality on any Reno phone to date. All three models have quality panels, supporting Widevine L1 for watching your favorite Netflix shows in Full HD glory, along with HDR10 content.

Fast charging speeds

Getting your battery topped up as fast as possible is a definite must-have for any mid-range phone, as most if not all users are usually on the go and always want to have adequate battery charge at all times. In the case of the Reno10 series 5G, the base model offers you 67W SuperVOOC charging for its 5000mAh battery, while the Pro model gets you 80W SuperVOOC charging for its 4600mAh battery. As for the Pro+, you get a balance of a decently-sized 4700mAh battery and fast 100W SuperVOOC charging–the fastest in any Reno phone to date.

Aside from fast charging speeds, OPPO made sure that they are both healthy and sustainable with its Battery Health Engine tech, ensuring that you still have 80% of your battery capacity after 1600 cycles–which is double the industry standard.

Premium builds

Regardless if you are going for the vanilla Reno10, the Pro version, or the top-end Pro+ version, all three models feature a glass back with a frosted finish to give it a premium look. The camera module for all three models have an elongated oval that gives emphasis to the main camera–64-megapixel for the Reno10, and 50-megapixel IMX890 with OIS for both the Pro and Pro+ models.

Paired with their gorgeous curved AMOLED screens, the whole Reno10 series have a very professional look that should appeal to anyone.

A suite of camera features

Aside from all models being able to shoot 4K videos at 30FPS (with the Pro+ adding 4K Ultra Night Video), OPPO equipped the Reno10 series 5G with a suite of camera features that help you capture professional-quality photos and videos. You get things like Pro Portrait mode and Portrait Expert engine that lets you make good use of the Reno10 series 5G’s telephoto camera for flattering portraits, bolder backgrounds, and subjects that stand out in the image.

The OPPO Reno10 5G is priced at Php 23,999, while the Reno10 Pro 5G and Reno10 Pro+ 5G are priced at Php 29,999 and Php 39,999 respectively. All three models will be available in official OPPO online stores Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, and as well as authorized dealers nationwide.
