Boss dual cameras on the OnePlus 5
About a week back, OnePlus tweeted out the photo you see above. They asked which of the two was taken with their upcoming “flagship killer of 2017”, the OnePlus 5. While the clarity of the image on the right is a dead giveaway for the device, it may be telling us more about its dual camera setup and the alleged camera samples that have been making its rounds online might just back that up. One of the two cameras on the rear of the OnePlus 5 will have a monochrome sensor that helps out with the sharpness of your snaps; a setup we’ve seen on the Huawei P9 and the P9 Plus.
Nothing is confirmed until the phone officially launches, so take some of the details we’ve unearthed thus far with a grain of salt. Even if the three images you see above aren’t from the OnePlus 5, it still looks like we’re getting pretty boss cameras with the device given the image the brand tweeted out; which could be twin 16-megapixel cameras with f/2.0 aperture. In case you’ve forgotten, here are the rest of the specs that we’ve been seeing for the OnePlus 5.
