Based on their benchmarks, which include both Android and iOS devices
It’s AnTuTu Benchmark fun time here at Unbox. Here areĀ a few notes from AnTuTu before we jump into the meat of the post:
1. Scores: These are average scores, not the highest scores.
2. Period of data gathering: From May 1, 2017 to May 31, 2017.
3. Amount of data points: At least 1000 data samples for each model listed.
With that out of the way, let’s dive into the rankings.
Recently released Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Android handsets – the HTC U11, Xiaomi Mi 6, Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ – sit in the top half of this list, with last gen SD 821 phones – OnePlus and LeEco devices – filling up the bottom ranks. Apple’s iPhone 7 series is still very formidable, despite having launched nearly a year ago, back in September 2016.
Absent in this list is LG’s newest darling, the G6, as well as Google’s first generation Pixel line-up. Both pack Snapdragon 821 chipsets like the OnePlus 3T.
It’ll be interesting to see where the latest “flagship killer”, the OnePlus 5 fits into this equation, and probably Sony’s SD 835-packing Xperia XZ Premium.
Other charts below include iOS only and Android only rankings.
