Like the iPhone 12 series, the iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 come with a Super Retina XDR display at 5.4 and 6.1-inches respectively. The display supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG, and Apple claims that they are 28% brighter with 800 nits and 1,200 nits HDR peak brightness.
Powering the iPhone 13 series is the A15 Bionic. While it also makes use of a 5nm process, Apple claims that the A15 Bionic is 50% faster than the leading competition. Key highlights include an improved Neural Engine, a new ISP, double the system cache, and a new display engine.
The new processor also goes along with Apple’s claimed better battery life: up to 1.5 hours longer on the iPhone 13 Mini, and up to 2.5 hours longer on the iPhone 13.
The 12-megapixel camera is now bigger 1.7um pixels, 26mm focal length equivalent, f/1.5 aperture, and sensor-shift stabilization. The 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, on the other hand, has a faster sensor while keeping its 13mm focal length equivalent and f/2.4 aperture
