It’s the fastest phone around
With a price tag of around Php 50K, you’d assume that Apple’s new flagship, the iPhone X, would be the speediest phone around. You’d be right, and benchmarks prove it – the new flagship has showed up in Geekbench 4 benchmark tests, and left its Android competitors in the dust.
Apple’s new A11 Bionic chipset absolutely dominates Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor and Samsung’s Exynos 8895 Octa, at least on the Geekbench benchmark scores, and has a comfortable lead in both multi-core and single-core tests.
The new A11 Bionic processor is a hexa-core chip, with two high-power cores and four power-efficient ones. The big difference from Apple’s previous A10 Fusion chip was its capability to run all six cores simultaneously.
It’s also worth noting that the iPhone X only has 3GB of RAM, which is the same amount as the iPhone 7 Plus and 8 Plus. There really is something to be said about optimizing a platform to a single product line, unlike Android.
