Here’s an affordable smartphone from ARCHOS!
ARCHOS is a French manufacturer that makes a lot of things, which also includes tablets and smartphones. Before everybody’s newstream is clogged by CES coverage, the company has gone ahead and released their 50 Diamond smartphone, an affordable LTE smartphone that’s pegged to retail under $200, or Php 9K.

The smartphone uses Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, which is paired with 2GB of RAM and a 5-inch full HD display. There’s LTE on board as well, as well as 16GB of storage and a rather powerful 16-megapixel rear camera with BSI.
Specs like these are usually found in China-bound smartphones like the Meizu M1 Note so we’re happy that an international smartphone maker finally stepped up and made their own bang-for-the-buck Android smartphone. The question now is if this particular smartphone will be offered in the PH, and how much it’ll be when it finally lands here.
