ASUS Announces Official Price of the VivoBook 15 OLED in the Philippines

by Duey Guison  October 13, 2021

After offering its ZenBook line with an OLED display upgrade, ASUS is giving its mid-range VivoBook laptops an OLED display option for the 15-inch model. Available in both Intel (K513EA) and AMD (M513UA) versions, ASUS is giving an under-Php 35k starting price for the VivoBook 15 OLED in the Philippines.

The headline feature of the VivoBook 15 OLED is its 15.6-inch, three-sided NanoEdge OLED display that features a 60% higher color volume for accurate colors even at low brightness level, a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio for deeper blacks, and 70% less harmful blue light. Both VivoBook 15 OLED variants come equipped with WiFi 6, 8GB RAM, and 512GB NVMe SSD. The Intel (K513EA) version comes with an 11th-generation Core i5 processor and Iris Xe integrated graphics, while the AMD (M513UA) version comes with a Ryzen 7 5700U processor and Radeon Vega integrated graphics. Keeping thermals stable is ASUS’ Intelligent Performance Technology (AIPT), which can boost the laptop’s performance to up to 40% when enabled and the laptop’s battery life and ensures cool, quiet operation.

As it caters to millennials, the VivoBook 15 OLED is light at 1.8kg and thin at 18.6mm. It has a statement Enter key with a neon yellow accent color, along with a fingerprint scanner on the trackpad to keep the laptop secure, and a backlit keyboard. It also comes with Harman-Kardon-tuned stereo speakers and AI noise-canceling audio to reduce background noise while you are engaged in an online meeting or video call.

Ports should not be a problem either, as the VivoBook 15 OLED comes with two USB-A 2.0 ports, USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, HDMI port, headphone jack, and a MicroSD card reader. Keeping the lights on is a 42wHr battery with 65w charging.

All VivoBook 15 OLED models come with Windows 10 and Office Home and Student 2019 and are eligible for an upgrade to Windows 11 for free. You also get Link to MyASUS, which lets you seamlessly integrate your phone with the VivoBook 15 OLED.
