ASUS’ Futuristic ZenBook Duo and ZenBook Pro Duo Arrives In The Philippines

It’s pricey but awesome

Remember ASUS’ futuristic, dual-screen ZenBook Pro Duo? Well, the company has finally announced its arrival in the Philippines.

ASUS dabbled with the idea of having a secondary LCD screen with their ZenBook Pro, replacing the regular glass touchpad with an LCD touchscreen. That idea worked remarkably well, so the company took the next step – put a high-resolution secondary display right below the main panel.

Coming in two screen size variants (14-inch full HD panel and 15.6-inch 4K model), the ZenBook Pro Duo has top-tier hardware to go with the dual displays. Processor choices go up to Intel’s latest generation Intel Core i9 processor, up to 32GB of RAM, 1TB of PCIe SSD storage, as well as discrete GPU options up to an RTX 2060 GPU.

There’s going to be two versions of the ZenBook Pro Duo here in the Philippines – a 14-inch variant with 16GB of RAM, MX250 GPU, 1TB SSD storage and a 10th generation Core i7 processor, which retails for Php 84,995. A lower variant Intel Core i5 variant is priced at Php 74995.

The 15-inch variant with a 4K display, NVIDIA RTX 2060 GPU, 1TB SSD storage and up to 32GB of RAM and Intel’s Core i9 processor will retail for Php 199,995. A lower-specc’d Core i7 variant is priced at Php 169995.

They’re certainly spendy, but after a few days of use, we found that the displays are incredibly useful especially if you’re a content creator.
