A much more affordable Zenfone
After officially launching 4 new smartphones last week in India, ASUS added another smartphone to the list, albeit without any kind of fanfare. The ZenFone Go is powered by a low-cost, MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor, churning out 1.3GHz and is paired with 2GB of RAM.
ASUS ZenFone Go
- 1.3GHz quad-core processor
- 2GB of RAM
- 5-inch HD display, 720 x 1280 resolution
- 8/16GB of storage, expandable via microSD
- 8-megapixel rear camera
- 2-megapixel front
- Dual SIM
- 3G, HSPA+
- WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS
- Android 5.1 Lollipop, ASUS ZenUI
- 2070mAh battery
There will be two storage variants for the device (8GB and 16GB) and the phone will feature a 5-inch, HD IPS panel. The phone will also have a 8-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture. No price has been set for this phone, but you can expect it to slot neatly into the entry-level price point once ASUS releases the phone in India and elsewhere.
