While Asus is busy announcing new smartphones and tablets, let’s not forget that the company still makes fast, versatile notebooks. Case in point, the N550JK. The new notebook is a powerful notebook that can be used for many applications including video editing, gaming and general multimedia.

Much like other notebooks in its class, the N550JK uses light and durable aluminum, and has the same ripple-like speaker mesh seen on previous N Series models. Asus says that the N550JK is the first notebook to feature a quad-speaker array with the use of ASUS SonicMaster Premium for its audio, and even comes with an external subwoofer.
Aside from having a premium body and impressive sound, the N550JK uses Intel’s latest Core i7-4700HQ processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX850M graphics with 4GB VRAM for maximum performance. The 15.6-inch, full HD IPS display is definitely big enough to satisfy gamers, artists and editors alike. Of course, with specs like these, the N550JK isn’t cheap – expect to pay Php 63,995 at Octagon and Villman Computer stores if you plan to grab one for yourself.
