The ROG Falcata is a Split Gaming Keyboard

With several new peripherals announced at COMPUTEX 2025, the most interesting item ASUS has announced is a split gaming keyboard called the ROG Falcata. Adopting a 75% form factor, the Falcata’s split design is meant to adapt to different gaming setups. One use case is allowing them to use only the left keyboard module and use the extra space for their mouse for a more compact gaming setup especially for FPS players.

Instead of mechanical switches, the Falcata uses ROG HFX V2 magnetic switches that are hot-swappable. They are pre-lubed, have a 0.1-3.5mm actuation that’s fine-tuned at 0.01mm intervals, and boast a 100 million keypress lifespan. The left keyboard module has a multifunction wheel and button that’s customizable according to the user’s needs, and the Rapid Trigger toggle along the top edge of the Falcata allows users to easily switch to the fastest typing response and key repeat rates.

The Falcata offers an 8000Hz polling rate and features ROG SpeedNova 8K wireless technology for up to 610 hours of battery life. It can be used across three devices with Bluetooth, 2.4Ghz, and wired. You also get integrated four-layer dampening that absorbs pinging noises and offers a more cushioned typing feel to enhance typing experiences. Completing the setup are a pair of detachable silicone wrist rests perfectly complement the keyboard’s unique tilt angles for unmatched comfort.

There’s no word yet on pricing and availability of the ROG Falcata, so stay tuned for updates from ASUS Philippines.
