ASUS ROG Phone 3 Key Specs Spotted in AnTuTu Listing

With ASUS set to launch the next ROG Phone in the next few months, an AnTuTu listing revealed some of the key specs of the ROG Phone 3. With a record-breaking score of over 646k, the upcoming gaming phone will reportedly have 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM that is paired with 512GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage.

What’s interesting with the ROG Phone 3’s spec sheet is its Snapdragon 865 processor, which has an overclocked Kryo 585 core at 3.09 Ghz—that’s 0.25Ghz higher than the normal Snapdragon 865 processor. While we cannot confirm if this is a Snapdragon 865+ processor, one theory is that the ROG Phone 3 achieved such speeds because it comes with a new form of liquid cooling. As for the display, the AnTuTu listing reveals that the ROG Phone 3 will have a 144hz panel.

In a TENAA listing, the ROG Phone 3 is revealed to have 8GB and 12GB RAM variants, along with 128GB and 256GB storage variants. Design-wise, it will be similar to the ROG Phone 2 save for a triple rear camera setup—the said setup will be led by a 64-megapixel main snapper. The display is a Full HD+ panel at 6.59-inches, with a sliver of a bezel on top for the 13-megapixel selfie shooter. The battery is listed at 5800mAh with support for 30w charging.

ASUS is expected to launch the ROG Phone 3 next month, a year after the ROG Phone 2 was unveiled.
