ASUS is finally bringing the latest iteration of the ROG Phone. Retaining the majority of the ROG Phone 2’s design language, the ROG Phone improves on it with a faster 144hz refresh rate and 270hz touch response rate on its AMOLED panel, updated Air Triggers, an additional macro camera, and the best possible internals: Snapdragon 865+ processor (Snapdragon 865 on the Strix edition), LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 internal storage.
Since it retains most of the ROG Phone 2’s design, the ROG Phone 3 is compatible with most of the accessories that are made for the ROG Phone 2.
For the Philippine market, the ROG Phone 3 will be offered in three variants. The Strix Edition, which is priced at Php 39,995, gets you 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, and a regular Snapdragon 865 processor. Add up Php 10k, and you get the base variant of the Classic Edition, which has 12GB RAM, 512GB internal storage, and a more powerful Snapdragon 865+ processor.
If you want the ultimate ROG phone, the 16GB/512GB variant of the Classic Edition will cost you Php 54,995, which is priced competitively for a phone that has more RAM than most mainstream laptops in the market.
The ROG Phone 3 will be available starting August 22. All three models come bundled with an Aero Case, AeroActive Cooler 3, and USB-C to headphone jack dongle, and early purchasers get a ROG hoodie and ROG bag with their purchase.
