ASUS Rolling Out Android Pie to the ZenFone Max (M2) and ZenFone Max Pro (M1)

ASUS Rolling Out Android Pie to the ZenFone Max (M2) and ZenFone Max Pro (M1)

Time for that slice of Pie

A month after announcing the Android Pie Beta program for the ZenFone Max Pro M1, ASUS is rolling out the stable build of Android Pie to their 2018 budget mid-range offering. The update is rolling out in India initially, so expect a wider release in the coming weeks.

Aside from the ZenFone Max Pro M1, the ZenFone Max M2 is also receiving Android Pie as well–which is impressive on ASUS’ part since the ZenFone Max M2 is relatively new.

While there is no word about the ZenFone Max Pro M2–the big-batteried mid-ranger is also part of the Android Pie Beta program–but we expect ASUS to roll out the stable build for it in the coming weeks.

UPDATE: ASUS just confirmed that they are rolling out Android Pie to the ZenFone Max Pro M2.
