A good Windows 8 Laptop that doesn’t break the bank
Priced at Php36,995, the ASUS VivoBook S550 is a pretty compelling offer. First, it looks amazing. They used hairline-spun textured metal which makes it look and feel premium, stylish, and chic. Add to that the Ultrabook form factor (21mm profile) and you have a screaming sezzy piece of tech. The all-glass panel is also made for touch, which is the trademark UI of Windows 8.
As for the specs we’re looking at Intel’s third-generation core processors (Ivy Bridge). The model that sells for Php36,990 ships with the Core i5-3317U, 6GB RAM, 500GB HDD, 24GB SSD, and a DVD burner. Gaming is also possible with this machine as it packs an NVIDIA GeForce GT 635M with DirectX 11 (4GB DDR3 Video Memory).
