ASUS ZenFone 6 to Use a Dual Slider Design?

ASUS is keeping their options open

While ASUS is set to launch the ZenFone 6 on May 16, we have no concrete idea as to how it will look like. While previous prototypes showcased different notch placements both weird and conventional, ASUS is exploring another design with the dual slider approach.

Recent leaks reveal two versions: the first one has a dual front camera and LED flash strip for the top sliding portion and Harman/Kardon speakers for the bottom slider. This version has a curvy body reminiscent of the ZenFone Max Pro M2.

The dual rear camera setup is placed in the top middle portion, while the absence of a fingerprint scanner hints at a possible in-display solution.

The second prototype has a boxy look that reminds us of the ZenFone 3 series. Unlike the first prototype, this one has a conventional fingerprint scanner, and the bottom slider is replaced by a secondary display that houses additional controls for the camera UI.

As far as specs are concerned, the higher-end ZenFone 6 is expected to have a Snapdragon 855 processor paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
