If plans go according to plan, the ZenFone Max Plus M1 would become the company’s first ever 18:9-equipped phone in the Philippines.
The ZenFone Max Plus M1 is packed with a 5.7-inch full view display in a body that’s only as big as a regular 5.2-inch phone, with a 2160 X 1080 resolution display. That gives the device a screen to body ratio of around 80%. The phone is also equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture lens, along with a 8-megapixel f/2.4 aperture wide angle lens. Selfie duties are handled by a 8-megapixel camera.
Inside the phone beats MediaTek’s MT6750 octa-core processor with a Mali-T860 MP2 GPU, along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. Since the phone is part of ASUS’ ZenFone Max family, it has a massive 4130mAh battery, along wtih Android Nougat and ZenUI 4.0.
No solid date or price yet when the phone will be launched in the Philippines, but our sources say that the device would be offered by the company “soon”.
