It might be ASUS’ first Android One phone
While this upcoming ZenFone may not be part of the ZenFone 5 family, the ZenFone Max Pro M1 is an interesting offering for several reasons: Being a Max model, this phone packs a huge 5000mAh battery paired with a Snapdragon 636 processor. Such combination should make the ZenFone Max Pro M1 last for around two days, just like the ZenFone 4 Max.
Next is the display: This one sports a 6-inch Full HD+ display, similar to the notch-free display of the ZenFone 5Q. As for the cameras, the ZenFone Max Pro M1 packs three 16-megapixel cameras (two in the back and one in the front) with Portrait mode.
But will all the rumored specs, the most interesting part is that the ZenFone Max Pro M1 will run on “Pure Android Oreo”. Our speculation on this is that this might be ASUS’ first Android One offering and the first from the ZenFone line to not have a ZenUI skin.
There are no details yet as to when the ZenFone Max Pro M1 will launch. Should ASUS give a competitive price, the ZenFone Max Pro M1 can potentially be a hot-selling item for the Taiwanese brand with its specs.
