After several iterations of showcasing its AniMe matrix LED display on the lids of its ROG Zephyrus G14 and G16 gaming laptops, ASUS is going for a different direction in 2024. This time around, the ROG Zephyrus G14 and G16 have a more minimalist look with a Slash Lighting array on the lid. With this key design change, ASUS will no longer offer Zephyrus G14 and G16 with and without AniMe Matrix LED display.

Available in Eclipse Gray or the Platinum White, both models come with a premium matte finish to complement the sleek Slash Lighting array.Â
Maintaining its slim and light profiles, ASUS manage to pack more powerful GPU options on them: up to a RTX 4070 on the 2024 Zephyrus G14, and up to an RTX 4090 on the Zephyrus G16–the latter being a feat considering its form factor as a slim gaming laptop.
Both slim gaming laptops get the latest processors from Intel and AMD. That’s the Ryzen 8000 series for the 2024 Zephyrus G14, and Intel’s Core Ultra series (up to a Core Ultra 9 185H) on the 2024 Zephyrus G16. Both models benefit from Thermal Grizzly liquid metal for cooling the internals.
Aside from the latest internals, both models feature Nebula OLED displays that support G-Sync–the first time on an ROG laptop.
ASUS has yet to reveal the official price of the 2024 ROG Zephyrus G14 and G16. Stay tuned to the site for updates on its official pricing and the variants that will be brought to the Philippines.
