Corsair announced the release of it’s newest Bluetooth wired gaming headset, the Corsair HS70. It may sound redundant to have both wired and wireless connectivity on a headset but it does make sense if you’re one to use multiple devices.
Instead of switching your headset jack back and forth between your console and your Bluetooth device, like your phone, for example, the HS70 provides you with both wired connectivity options, either through USB and 3.5mm jack, and wireless Bluetooth connectivity so you can hear your phone and your console on one headset. We see how this can be ideal for playing games on your console or handheld device while talking to a friend on your phone or listening to your favorite tunes.
The headset comes with a detachable noise-canceling uni-directional microphone that’s capable of reducing ambient noise for vocal clarity. According to Corsair, the HS70 headset is powered by a rechargeable battery that can last up to 30 hours on a single charge.
The Corsair HS70 Bluetooth Wired Gaming Headset can be purchased from the Corsair website for $99. No local price for this headset is available as of press time.
