Black Shark announces its latest gaming phone in China by making Black Shark 4 series official. Both the vanilla and Pro models boast up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 4500mAh battery with an insanely fast 120w wired charging, and fast 144hz displays.

Both phones are similar, as they rock a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a fast 144hz refresh rate, 720hz touch sampling rate, and 100% DCI-P3 gamut. You also get pressure-sensitive shoulder keys, along with a 20-megapixel selfie snapper, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The main difference between the vanilla and Pro model is with the processor and main rear camera. The Pro model uses a Snapdragon 888 processor and a 64-megapixel main camera, while the vanilla model settles for a Snapdragon 870 and a 48-megapixel main camera.

In addition, the Pro model gets a two-layer liquid cooling system and RAMDISK–the latter utilizing RAM as disk storage to improve an app’s overall performance.

Black Shark 4 Official Price

The Black Shark 4 will be available in china starting March 26, and there’s no word yet for global availability. The vanila model starts at CNY 2499(~Php 18.7k) for the 6GB/128GB model and goes as high as CNY 3299(~Php 24.6k) for the 12GB/256GB model.

The Pro model, on the other hand, starts at CNY 3999(~Php 29.8k) for the 8GB/128GB and goes as high as CNY 5299(~Php 39.5k) for the top-tier 16GB/512GB model.
