2019 Gaming phones take the lead
AnTuTu just released its Top 10 best-performing phones for August 2019, and the Black Shark 2 Pro takes the lead with a score of almost 470k. ASUS’ ROG Phone 2 is not far behind, as it has roughly the same score with the Black Shark 2 Pro. Both phones come with a Snapdragon 855+ processor, along with proprietary cooling tech.
The rest of the list consists of phones equipped with a Snapdragon 855 processor, and the score difference shows the added performance boost with the Snapdragon 855+.
The scores are based on v8 of AnTuTu, which gives emphasis on storage results, so the results may vary depending on the storage variant being benchmarked. Currently, AnTuTu v8 is only available in China.
