Chinese company BlackView isn’t about to be left behind in the 18:9 “bezel-less” craze. Its flagship S8 has an 18:9, edge-to-edge panel as well as quad-cameras – two in the front, two in the rearmuch like Huawei’s Nova 2i.

The phone’s 5.7 inch panel has an 18:9 aspect ratio but has a resolution of only HD+, topping out at 1440 x 720 pixels. Inside its body is a 1.5GHz octa-core MTK6750V processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage as well as a 3180mAh battery and Android Nougat.

The rear camera is a 13-megapixel deal paired with a VGA depth sensor (0.3-megapixels) while the front camera is a 13-megapixel shooter paired with a VGA depth sensor as well. The secondary camera adds depth information to the shot to add artificial bokeh after the fact.
