Just like how TECNO added a new Spark 20 variant, the brand also added a new Camon 30 variant with the Camon 30S Pro. This new Camon 30 variant has a couple of new, among them a new Helio G100 4G chip. There’s not much detail about the Helio G100, but it is a 6nm chip that has 7% better CPU performance than the Helio G99 and supports 4.5G connectivity–which we presume might be referring to LTE-Advanced.
Also unique to the Camon 30S Pro is its support for 20w wireless charging, with TECNO having a magnetic charging phone case for it that’s similar to what Infinix has for its NOTE 40 Pro+. Wired charging is just at 45w, which should be good enough to top up the 5000mAh battery in under 1 hour.
For the cameras, the Camon 30S Pro has a 50-megapixel IMX896 sensor for the main camera with OIS. Not much is known about this sensor, but we presume that it is a slightly upgraded version of the IMX890 that’s used on other Camon 30 phones. Selfies are taken care of by a 50-megapixel shooter that has eye tracking autofocus.
As for the rest of the specs, you get a 6.78-inch 120hz curved AMOLED display with 1300nits peak brightness, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and Android 14 out of the box. We don’t know the availability and pricing of the Camon 30S Pro yet, but we expect it to be around the Php 10k mark since the Camon 30 5G has a starting price of Php 12k.
