We were invited to the Canon head office at McKinley Hill to have a hands-on with some of their business imaging solutions.

The imageFORMULA DR-S150 is a versatile scanner that can easily digitize all of your documents–and even make the necessary tweaks to deliver high-quality scans that business will need. It’s of scanning different types of media that include thin papers, plastic IDs and even passports of up to 4mm thick. Aside from that, the imageFORMULA DR-S150 can do batch scanning for businesses who need to deal with tons of paperwork that need to be digitized.

Those looking for a large-format printer that can fit in small spaces can go for the imagePROGRAF TC-20, which is one of the most compact large-format printers in the market. This versatile printer can print anywhere between A4-sized paper to 24-inch/A1-sized posters. Its compact size means that you can place the imagePROGRAF TC-20 on a desk, cabinet or shelf with a flat top that will fit in a home office or satellite office.

The imagePROGRAF TC-20 uses four 280ml pigment inks that produces fine lines & texts on drawings and deliver vivid colour expression in posters and flyers. It’s also low-maintenance too, as the imagePROGRAF TC-20 has an accessible front panel for loading paper, replenishing ink, and replacing maintenance cartridges. For those who want an all-in-one system for print production, Canon has its imagePress V series Digital Press systems that can handle everything needed to produce batches of magazines, flyers, brochures, and more from start to finish. At Canon’s Media Tech Fiesta 2023, the imagePress V700 was demonstrated to us, where it produced a small batch of mini magazines that showcased Canon’s line of B2B products.

The production process was fast and efficient: after setting the layout and offset on the computer, the imagePress V700 started its production of these mini magazines. The system did everything from printing, folding, to stapling all the pages to give us the actual output–which is the magazine itself. The whole system took around 10 minutes to produce a dozen copies of Canon’s mini magazine.
