Brace yourself, KitKat is coming

A few days ago we revealed that one of Cherry Mobile’s upcoming smartphones, the Urban, was advertised as having KitKat onboard when it launches. While most people were skeptical (Cherry Mobile’s promised KitKat update for the Cosmos Z2 is nowhere to be found, after all) some has held on hope that the local firm would finally launch an Android 4.4 KitKat equipped smartphone. Well, today Cherry Mobile has come out with a video that clearly shows one of their phones running KitKat. It’s not entirely clear from the video which device they used for the demo, if we would hazard a guess, it would have been the Urban. Now the only question is when Cherry Mobile will release the KitKat update to their other smartphones. Check out the video below.
