The specs of the Cosmos Z2 looks pretty good. The Cosmos Z2 is very handsomely made, and the tight build of the smartphone screams premium.
We’d forgive you if you thought that the Cosmos Z2 looked like a device from a premium brand, because it certaintly looks the part. It’s also one of thinnest smartphones to come from Cherry Mobile, not thicker than 7.7mm at its thickest point.
The Cosmos Z2 has a nice removable back which we initially thought was non-removable. That’s how tight the construction of the Cosmos Z2 is – everything fits so tight that you’d think that it’s a monolithic build. The Cosmos Z2 also uses a matte, non slip back, which we particularly like.
The Cosmos Z2 is very responsive, and managed to get a score of 25742. That’s a few thousand points shy of the posted AnTuTu score of the Starmobile Diamond X1 that it’s going after, but then again the Diamond X1 isn’t a full HD display. We thought that it would be KitKat out of the box, but that’s not exactly true – it’ll be Jelly Bean out of the box at first, and will get the KitKat upgrade in March.
The Cherry Mobile Cosmos Z2 will be out tomorrow, and will be priced at Php 12,999.
