Cherry Mobile’s Latest Product is Geared Towards Travellers

It offers competitive rates as well

Aside from unveiling a number of Android Go devices with the Flare P3 family, Cherry Mobile silently launched the CherryRoam travel WiFi.

Shaped like a smartphone of yesteryears with its 4-inch LCD touchscreen, CherryRoam supports two NanoSIMS and can connect up to five devices at a time. Powering it is a hefty 5350mAh battery that has up to 15 hours of standby time. Since it comes with a big battery, the CherryRoam doubles as a power bank for your devices.

To make it connect seamlessly to over a 100 countries, the CherryRoam utilizes CloudSIM technology. In layman’s terms, CloudSIM is a SIM-less solution (similar to eSIM) that lets it connect to different networks without the need for a different SIM card.

What makes this interesting is its competitive rates: For only Php 500 a day, you can enjoy 1GB of high-speed data and unlimited browsing data (capped at 256kbps) to over 100 countries that include the US, Canada, Japan, Korea, China, Spain, France, Italy, UK, and many more.

If you are traveling to one region, CherryRoam offers data plans that have as much as 10GB of high-speed data valid for 30 days for as low as Php 2,500 for Japan, Korea, and China.

Such rates make CherryRoam an affordable travel WiFi option for those who go to different countries and need data on the go without paying for expensive travel SIMs abroad.

Order details are not yet available as of this writing, but you can head over to CherryRoam’s website to know more about Cherry Mobile’s latest product.
