Cherry has been serious about growing its ecosystem offerings in the Philippines, and for 2023 it is expanding into Smart TVs as well. For its initial lineup, Cherry will have three Smart TVs that consist of 32-inch, 43-inch, and 55-inch models.
The 32-inch model has a HD resolution, 60hz refresh rate, and runs on Android TV OS to give you access to apps like Netflix and YouTube. It has WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, along with a 65w power output.
Those who want something bigger can go for the 43-inch model, which has a Full HD resolution and a 74w power output. The biggest of the bunch is a 55-inch model that has a 4K UHD resolution, along with a newer Google TV operating system. Instead of being based on Android, Google TV is based on ChromeOS, giving you a cleaner and sleeker interface.
As its debut offering, Cherry is giving competitive prices for its smart TVs. The 32-inch model is priced at Php 8,999, while the43-inch model is priced at Php 14,999. The top-end 55-inch model, meanwhile, is priced at Php 20,999, making it competitive against other brands offering similarly-sized smart TVs.
We confirmed that all three models will be made available soon at Cherry’s online store and at physical stores.
