The long wait for the first phone from CMF has finally arrived in the Philippines with the aptly named Phone 1. As the most affordable offering from Nothing, the CMF Phone 1 makes itself unique with its modular back panel that allows you to change colors and even add a lanyard to the CMF Phone 1 by removing 5 screws and the knob at the bottom right part of the phone.
CMF’s modular approach towards the Phone 1 is novel, bringing in possibilities for several accessories in the future–though they could have gone a step further by making the 5000mAh battery removable and giving the Fairphone 5 a run for its money.
As for its specs, you are getting a Dimensity 7300 processor that’s paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB of expandable storage, while its display is a familiar 6.67-inch 120hz flat AMOLED display you’d find on the Nothing Phone 2a. For the cameras, you get a 50-megapixel Sony sensor for the main camera that’s accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth sensor, along with a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, support for 33w wired charging, and a bloatware-free Android 14-based NothingOS 2 out of the box.
The CMF Phone 1 is priced at Php 17,490 and is available for purchase at Digital Walker’s online web store.
