As we are close to the start of the school year, the LGU of San Pablo City recently turned over 103 laptops to DepEd. The said laptops will be used by the LGU’s Learning Resource Coordinators and Division Personnel for its Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan.

The computers donated are ASUS’ entry-level TUF Gaming Laptops. While they did not specify which model did they donate, the FX505 is listed at Php 38,995 and has a Ryzen 5-3550H processor, 1TB HDD, 4GB RAM, GTX1650 discrete GPU, and 15-inch IPS 120hz Full HD display. Those specs should be enough for Learning Resource Coordinators and Division Personnel, who will take charge of creating learning modules for the students.
The FX505 is upgradeable, so the San Pablo City LGU can opt to upgrade the HDD to a faster SSD drive and add more RAM in the future.
