After entering the headphones market with the Zone in 2022, Dyson introduced a new pair of HiFi headphones with the OnTrac. Aside from claiming to have the best ANC performance in its class and a class-leading 55-hour battery life, the OnTrac is very customizable with 2,000 customizable color combinations for its outer caps and ear cushions–the latter being crafted from ultra-soft microfiber and high-grade foam.
As a pair of high-end headphones, the ANC performance of the Dyson OnTrac is one of the best with its use of 8 microphones that sample external sound at 384,000 times a second to give you the best possible noise-cancelling experience.
As for the headphones themselves, the OnTrac makes use of 40mm, 16-ohm neodymium drivers that are paired with Dyson’s advanced signal processing that’s capable of reproducing frequencies from 6hz to 21000hz for a broad soundstage. The drivers have a 13-degree tilt towards the ear for better audio response.
Its class-leading 55-hour battery life is made possible with two high-capacity lithium-ion battery cells that are suspended in the headband for better weight distribution. Launch colorways for the OnTrac include CNC Aluminium, Copper, and Nickel, and Ceramic Cinnabar. The CNC colorways are inspired by the CNC manufacturing process, while the Ceramic version features a ceramic-feel painted finish.
Dyson will reveal pricing and availability for the OnTrac soon.
