Entry-Level Nokia 2 Gets a Big Battery

Entry-Level Nokia 2 Gets a Big Battery

It May Not Be Fast, But Can It Last?

A couple of months back, we heard rumblings about another Nokia phone that might be hitting store shelves. The Nokia 2, an entry-level smartphone from HMD Global Oy, is said to be rocking a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage with a 4.6-inch HD screen. While its specs might not be impressive, one key detail that just surfaced might make it the perfect candidate for a backup device.

While it has passed through the FCC some time ago, the battery capacity for the device was just revealed and the Nokia 2 is said to be packing a 4000mAh battery; more than what their current flagship, the Nokia 8, is packing. Many speculate that the phone will be priced somewhere in between the new Nokia 3310 and the Nokia 3, which will place it somewhere around the Php 4,000 mark, which may bear some consideration if you need a secondary smartphone for keeping on the DL or just happen to be on the look out for a budget smartphone that can last more than a day.
