Will also arrive in physical Novo7 Tech stores for Php 7490
Meizu’s M1 Note marked the start of the arrival of bang for the buck phones from international brands last March. It’s one of the best selling phones of Novo7 Tech (the company that sells Meizu’s products here) and as soon as Meizu announced its successor, we knew it was just a matter of time before it arrived here.

Novo7 Tech contacted us earlier today announcing that the Meizu M2 Note will arrive in the Philippines sometime next month, as a timed exclusive in Lazada for Php 6,990. The phone will also show up in August in Novo7 Tech’s shops though with a higher price of Php 7,490. The variant that will be sold in the PH will be the grey colored, 16GB storage one.
The Meizu M2 Note uses MediaTek’s newest MT6753 octa-core processor, which promises better LTE performance, and a new ARM Mali-T720 GPU (compared to the ARM Mali-T760 GPU on the MT6752).
And just like that, the bang for the buck wars heat up yet again! What do you think of the M2 Note? Do you think it’s worth getting over other phones in its price bracket? Let us know in the comments below.
Boom! Sabi na nga ba. Hindi pwedeng 5k+ lang dito sa Pinas. hahaha!
oh my.. cherry mobile flare x or meizu m2 note?
As I have pointed out earlier, nakabili ako ng 64 GB Class 10 MicroSd sa ENIGMA Phils. worth Php1,150………Kung Php1k ang difference at hindi naman nagkakalayo ang specs, sa Meizu ka na
Whats the diff between the 6752 and 6753 chips? Is this worth the upgrade from M1 Note? Only a full review will tell 🙂
The SD Expansion Slot is worth the upgrade alone, this was Meizu’s blunder obviously
Successor better but cheap? What’s the catch. Newbie here 🙂
slight downgrade on performance due to the lower-clocked processor. only obvious on Antutu benchmark but not noticable in real life.
M1 note has better cpu and gpu and gorilla glass 3..but m2 allow you to use 1 of its sim card slot to expand your storage thru sd card
counter – attack Hahaha
Now this is what I call a toss up between the Flare X
1k difference, considering na ang mura na ng 64 GB ngayon….I might root for the Meizu!
m1 note = better SoC (better Mali T760 GPU), non-expandable storage
m2 note = better connectivity, expandable storage, lesser performing SoC (lower CPU clock, worse GPU in Mali T720)
Choices, people!
im currently using m1 note and my download speed average (4G) is at 1.5 mb/sec..i think it’s not bad at all..
Choosing between CM Flare X and this. I’d go for Flare x for Proud Pinoy factor and support nadin.
*pinoy pride intensifies*
Hahahaha!
flare x is a rebranded jiayu s3 from china
I read somewhere in the net that cherry mobile has a reputation of selling disposable phones. The way I see it, once na masira at ma-experience mo ang bad after sales support, mapipilitan kang bumili ng bago. Adding the price of the old and the new phone will make you think na sana, yung may quality na lang ang binili mo.
I’ll be waiting for lazada to launch this! Hope they have a lot of stocks kasi for sure ubusan yun 🙂
2and of course, the Less than 500 price tag. I’m 2also wary of 5.0 and it’s really not advisable to get this if you’re not from the southern half of Luzon. And aren’t those IGZO panels prone to ghosting?
currently using m1 note and m4 aqua..in my observation all aspect may advantage ang m1 fhd and didnt experience ghosting..from small to big dept i love my m1 compare to m4.. the only advantage of sony is waterproofing and sd slot..not to mention mas malinis ui ng meizu..
“Novo7 Tech contacted us earlier today announcing that the Meizu M2 Note will arrive in the Philippines sometime next month, as a ‘TIMED’ exclusive in Lazada for Php 6,990. The phone will also show up in August in Novo7 Tech’s shops though with a higher price of Php 7,490.”
Waiting for m1 @ m2 note in terms of cpu power ang graphics performances a well as battery life ksi mas lower ang clock speed nG m2 note. And I want to know kng true 13 mp ba talaga ang main cam at hindi interpolated. Connectivity wise I’d like to see a4g speedtest comparison.
M1 note is much more advance than the M2. All power, speed, performance, etc. you are seeking will be found with M1Note. M2 Note is a SLIGHT of a downgrade but the advantage of this device is the storage expansion slot.
Might pick this or the K3 Note. So many choices.
Blue mo mukha mo @ ha ha ha ha
M2 note has a limitation. It uses the sim 2 for microsd expansion. This means that it will only a single sim phone if you occupy the 2nd sim with microsd, Or stick to 16 gb limited storage but having a dual sim phone.
Wow… Meizu is taking over. Where is the Mi 4i, Xiaomi? LOL
I doubt they will still release mi4i here. masyado nang late and SD615 phones does not appeal much here due to overheating and overpriced.
maganda pa rin flarex or afp dito.prang downgrade to ng m1 note
Nice . .
even here – still no Gold???

supported ba ng 64gb na sd itong m2?
I bought Meizu note 2 from Lazada. Ndi compatible sa Globe mobile data as in walang connection, sa smart naman sa messenger apps Lang, no Internet (browser, YouTube of even Google play)
