Gadgets on our Nightstands

The first thing we usually reach out for when we wake up these days is our smartphone on our nightstand. However, the smartphone is just one of the few gadgets that we usually have placed near our bed. We took a quick photo of the 5 gadgets that can be found on our nightstand (the short table that’s nearest to your bed) so that we could share with you guys what we have there. 1. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5

This is our official “wake upper” gadget. It’s usually connected wirelessly to the Nude Audio wireless speakers so when the alarm starts it will literally jolt us out of bed (lol). After the alarm, we usually use the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 for three important things. First, we check our daily schedule to see what we have for the day. Next we check our e-mails and messages. And last, but definitely not the least, we fire up Clash of Clans so that we can collect elixir, gold, and dark elixir.

In the evenings when we can’t sleep we can also just grab the Tab S and watch a few movies or read some chapters of a book. Definitely a worthy investment and the ultimate nightstand gadget!

2. Nilkin Wireless Charging Plate

Next up we have our trust wireless charging plate from Nilkin. This keeps our LG G3 always topped up with battery. We already wrote a piece on why we feel that wireless charging is a must have so please do check it out here. Btw, a major benefit of wireless charging is that you avoid scratching the chrome or plastic band at the bottom of your phone near the micro USB port. Definitely helps with resale value, hehe.

3. NudeAudio Studio 5 Bluetooth Sound Dock

Powerful and punchy bass. Crisp and clear acoustics. Convenient wireless connectivity via Bluetooth. Awesome charger for iPhones, iPods, and iPads. The NudeAudio Studio 5 Bluetooth Sound Dock is a permanent fixture already on our nightstand. It’s perfect for sound tripping, alarms, and even charging. 4. LG G3

Next up we have our current favorite smartphone of 2014 — the LG G3. This device is simply a beast. Phenomenal display. Lightweight but premium build. Wireless charging out of the box. It’s one of the most innovative and feature packed devices that commands and deserves the respect of the tech and gadget community.

5. TMA-1 Studio Young Guru Edition Headphones

Finally we have our favorite headphones — the TMA-1 Studio Young Guru Edition. These cans are an absolute joy to use because they’re insanely comfortable and the sound quality it produces is just crazy good. This can beat up those Beats headphones any day of the week when it comes to sound quality and durability. It also looks sezzy with the black/red color theme.

Why do we have headphones when we already have speakers? Simple. When the wife is sleeping already the last thing you want to do is wake her up with the annoying sounds of Clash of Clans or with your sound trip session. Happy wife, happy life. ^_^
