First Shots In Madrid: Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite

Take a look at the sample photos from the Mi A2 Lite

We showed you the first shots taken from Xiaomi’s mid-range, Android One phone, the Mi A2 a few days ago. Today we’re going to give you sample photos taken from its cheaper brother, the Mi A2 Lite.

The Mi A2 Lite is a few thousand pesos cheaper than the Mi A2, and sports a different set of cameras compared to the headline model. As a refresher, the Mi A2 Lite has a 12-megapixel primary shooter with an f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary camera.

Many of the same shots taken with the Mi A2 Lite are in the same location as the Mi A2 since we were only given limited time with the more affordable Android One phone in Toledo, Spain.

Nevertheless, it’s obvious looking at the photos that the Mi A2 Lite can hold its own against its more expensive brother, at least when shooting outdoors. Indoor shots inside the Toledo Cathedral show the limits of the camera sensor, which doesn’t have the same low-light prowess of the Mi A2 thanks to its 20-megapixel secondary camera with Pixel binning.
