Here’s what the Moto G5s Plus’ dual 13-megapixel cameras can do

While we are working on the full review of the Moto G5s Plus, a number of our readers are asking about the performance of its dual rear cameras, and we have been extensively testing the full potential of its camera setup.

A quick overview: The Moto G5s Plus sports a dual 13-megapixel f/2.0 rear cameras, with one being an RGB sensor and the other a monochrome sensor. The setup is similar to the one found in the Moto Z2 Force, though the Moto Z2 Force uses a dual 12-megapixel f/2.0 cameras instead. While the G5s uses a mid-range Snapdragon 625 processor (compared to the Snapdragon 835 processor found in the Moto Z2 Force), they have the same camera UI, including Depth Mode and Depth Editor.

Being around Php 20K cheaper than the Moto Z2 Force, the Moto G5s Plus is an affordable dual-camera smartphone from Motorola. How good are the cameras? Here are the photos for you to judge, based on the few days we have used the phone.

We will be taking more photos in the coming days as part of our full review, so stay tuned.
