Take a gander at the Pocophone F1’s camera prowess

While the Pocophone F1 is marketed as a performance-oriented phone, the folks behind the new sub-brand of Xiaomi made sure that the new budget flagship also had cameras worth talking about. The F1 has a 12-megapixel f/1.8 Sony IMX 363 sensor along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera for depth information. The camera has Dual Pixel Autofocus, dual-tone flash, AI scene detection and AI portrait features. The front camera meanwhile is a 20-megapixel deal with a f/2.0 aperture, along with AI Portrait and AI Beauty features.

The photos taken below were all taken around the Pullman Hotel in Jakarta Indonesia. None of the photos have been edited in any way.

Images taken from the camera are OK, but they’re not going to blow you away. Low-light shots are so-so, though we will have to subject the phone to further tests before we can render a verdict.
