Superzoom camera that ain’t afraid of mother nature

Tired of putting away your expensive camera every time mother nature decides to introduce H20 into whatever you’re doing? Don’t fret. Fujifilm has just introduced their new, weather resistant FinePix S1 camera with 50x zoom that the company says will stand up to whatever Gaia throws at it. While Fujifilm says the camera is weather resistant, it doesn’t really specify just how far it ranks in the IPX rating, but at the minimum you’re looking at rain and dust resistance. The FinePix S1 has a 16-megapixel CMOS sensor, as well as a 50x super zoom 24mm F2.8-1200mm F5.6 lens.
