Garmin Instinct 2X Solar Starts at Php 28.3k in the Philippines

Garmin updates its line of smartwatches with the Instinct 2X Solar. A new feature for the Instinct 2X is the integrated LED flashlight with variable intensities, different modes (including strobe mode), and adjustable white or red light color to suit your needs while you are outdoors. Another new feature of the Instinct 2X is the addition of tracking for Obstacle Course Racing, where users can manually record obstacle splits during the race.

It retains vital Garmin tracking features like 24/7 health and wellness tracking, built-in sports apps to guide you with your training, multi-band GNSS for improved positional accuracy, and an array of sensors that include a 3-axis compass and barometric altimeter. Battery life is a major strength of the Instinct 2X Solar, as it can last for up to 60 days in Expedition GPS activity mode and up to 100 days in Battery Saver Watch mode thanks to its built-in solar charging. Without solar charging, the Instinct 2X Solar can last for up to 40 days in smartwatch mode.

Those looking for an even more rugged version can opt for the Tactical edition, which adds features like Jumpmaster and tactical preloaded activities, projected waypoints, dual-position GPS formatting, and Night-Vision Compatibility. It also has Stealth mode, which prevents sharing of GPS position and disables wireless communication. When in stealth mode–with GPS location remaining visible only on the watch face. In addition to that, the multi-LED flashlight of the Tactical edition illuminates in either white or green.

The Instinct 2X Solar is priced at Php 28,250 in the Philippines, while the Tactical Edition is priced at Php 31,380.
