Globe Telecom is stepping up their mobile internet offerings with the Globe Tattoo Tonino Lamborghini Stick. It delivers up to 10mbps via their 4G* network! The speed is possible because of Globe’s HSPA+ network. If you’re connected to HSPA+, you get up to 10mbps. If not the speed will be lower. However, according to blogger Rico of Technogra.ph, the speed is still pretty good even if it’s not connected to HSPA+.
Here’s the TVC:
How much? It’s Php2,199 monthly (postpaid) and you have to option of turning it into a MyFi device by adding Php50 to your monthly bill.
This is definitely an interesting development! I’m personally looking forward to seeing two things:
1. How Smart will react? What will they offer?
2. How will the fair use policy of Globe affect this service?
