Globe CloudFone Ice
Globe just launched one of the most affordable Android smartphones in the Philippines with the CloudFone Ice. Without any contract you can get it for just Php4,900, literally half the price of the SMART Netphone. If you want it for free just subscribe to Plan 499.
This is really an entry level phone and the specs alone will attest to that. It has a 3.2″ touchscreen, 3G/HSDPA, FM radio, 3.15MP camera, and storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD.
It will be interesting to see how the market responds to this offering! Kudos to Globe for coming up with an affordable package. Not too keen on the name though, hehe.
