GMA Network Launches GMA Now Dongle

As it continues to expand its presence in the Digital TV space, GMA Network makes its GMA Now Dongle official in the Philippines. The plug-and-play device (which connects to any Android phone with a MicroUSB port) enables users to enjoy GMA Network’s Digital TV broadcasts on the go without paying any additional fees.

Aside from GMA and GMA News TV, other digital channels include HallyuPop, Heart of Asia, and DepEd TV–the latter to be made available soon. Aside from GMA Network-exclusive Digital TV channels, GMA Now will also have access to other free-to-air channels as well.

Other added perks of GMA Now is GMA Videos-on-Demand, which is a portal for exclusive Kapuso content that users can view whenever they want–as long as they are connected to the internet.

There’s also Groupee chat for interacting with family and friends while watching their favorite programs. This feature will also have the latest updates on their favorite Kapuso artists soon. Lastly, GMA Now also has Interactive Promos where users can join quizzes and polls for a chance to win prizes.

“We are proud to say that GMA Now is the first mobile DTT receiver to combine traditional TV with the advantages of interactivity via the internet,” GMA Network Chairman and CEO Felipe Gozon said.
