The cat’s out of the bag
After we got a look at the spec sheet of Xiaomi’s Pocophone F1, the actual device and retail box have surfaced ahead of its release.
The Pocophone F1 has an aluminum unibody, along with a vertically-mounted dual rear camera and fingerprint scanner found at the top center of the rear case. Going to the front, the Pocophone F1 has a notch that is similar in size to the Mi 8 SE, though it does not come with the latter’s 3D facial recognition.
As for ports, you get a USB-C port at the bottom, a headphone jack on top, power and volume controls on the right side, and the SIM tray on the left side.
As for the retail packaging, the Pocophone F1’s front sticker confirms key features such as a Snapdragon 845 processor, a liquid cooling system, an AI-powered dual rear camera system with dual pixel autofocus, IR Face unlock, and a 4000mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0. As far as the packaging is concerned, the Pocophone F1 will have a black and yellow box.
The Pocophone F1 is slated to launch in Europe by mid-September and in India by October.
