OPPO brings over to the Philippines the A96 and revealed its official price as well. As a successor to last year’s A95, the A96 gets double the storage at 256GB, along with a more powerful Snapdragon 680 processor. The A96 shifts to an IPS display, but boasts of a 90hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 coverage.
The A96 keeps it simple with a dual rear camera setup that consists of a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. A 16-megapixel snapper takes care of selfies, while a 5000mAh battery keeps the lights on–and has support for 33w wired charging like its predecessor.
Other features of the A96 include OPPO’s Glow design, IP54 rating, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 out of the box.

The OPPO A96 is priced at Php 15,999Â and is available today in Lazada, on OPPO stores nationwide on May 8, and in Shopee on May 25.
