Here’s Your Official Look at the realme Pad, the Brand’s First Tablet

realme is set to unveil several new products on September 9, and the Pad–the brand’s first tablet–is one of those new products. Ahead of its launch, Flipkart opened its microsite for the realme Pad, revealing its official look.

The back panel, which is decked in gold, uses a unibody aluminum construction with a single accent strip crossing through the single rear camera, along with realme branding on the bottom.

With realme clearly taking swipes against the current-generation iPad, the brand claims that the Pad is 6.9mm slim–0.6mm slimmer than Apple’s entry-level tablet. Not much has been revealed in the microsite so far, but realme did disclose details on the display: it will be a 10.4-inch panel with a 2000×1200 WUXGA+ resolution and symmetrical bezels for an 82.5% screen-to-body ratio. The brand did not diclose the panel used, but we presume that it is an IPS panel–though previous rumors say that realme might use an AMOLED panel to leverage itself from the competition.

While we only know the official look of the realme Pad, rumored specs include a Helio G80 processor that is paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage, along with a 7100mAh battery that charges via USB-C. Other features include 8-megapixel cameras for both the front and back, quad speakers, DTS HD, Hi Res-Audio support, Wi-Fi, and LTE
