HMD Global Announces Nokia C20 Plus with Big Battery

Despite a slew of phone announcements last April, HMD Global is adding another Nokia C-series phones in its portfolio with the Nokia C20 Plus.

Nokia C20 Plus specs

  • Unisoc Sc9863a processor
  • 3GB RAM
  • 32GB storage
  • 6.517-inch IPS LCD, HD+
  • 8-megapixel f/2.2 main camera, 2-megapixel depth sensor
  • 5-megapixel selfie camera
  • 4G
  • WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2
  • 4950mAh battery
  • 10w charging
  • Android 11 Go

Like its vanilla sibling, the C20 Plus has a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a dewdrop notch for a 5-megapixel selfie snapper. Powering it is a Unisoc Sc9863a processor that is paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Like other Nokia C-series phones, the C20 Plus is an Android Go device with a commitment to 2 major updates in the future.

The C20 Plus does get two upgrades: it now has a dual-rear camera setup that consists of a higher-resolution 8-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel depth sensor, and it packs a bigger 4950mAh battery with 10w charging that is (sadly) done via MicroUSB. Since it has a vastly bigger battery, the C20 Plus is likewise thicker and heavier than its vanilla sibling. Like the vanilla model, you get a unibody polycarbonate shell with a textured design that is meant to make it durable.

Nokia C20 Plus Price

Unlike the vanilla model, the C20 Plus appears to be exclusive to China. It will go on sale on June 16 for CNY 699(~Php 5.3k) either black or blue. There’s no official word yet if the phone will be made available globally, as there is already the C10 and C20 in different countries including the Philippines.
